I went to the hospital the other day to visit my friends, Phil, Hannah & baby James! He was born at 7:20am on March 1st and he was a whopping 9lbs 3oz!!! This surprised us all because Hannah is so petite. James is definitely going to be a very handsome guy just like his papa. Check out a few shots I took while visiting. He didn't open his eyes for me this time so I am really anxious to see him again :)

Our British friends, Phil + Hannah have the cutest nickname for their baby boy. They call him The Yank and he should be on his way any day now!

I love this shoot so much because the sun was just perfect and we were all so relaxed which gave me lots of room to be creative! Can't wait to see baby Yank in person...soon we all hope! 

I had the pleasure of shooting my big brother, his wife and their baby-on-the-way! So fun!

4 days ago I got to witness and photograph the birth of my friend Linda's baby who we all call Sweet Pea, and it was incredible! I have so much more respect for my mother and every other mother out there now :) I guess what they say about forgetting pain is true because some people actually do it more than once! eeeeek! Anyway, enough about my "wow" moment, let me show you little Sweet Pea's first day of "real life". Welcome to the world baby Giselle!

  

Carla is Marcellos' adorable younger sister who is even more adorable pregnant! Her delightful, easy attitude along with lots of giggles made this shoot effortless. It also didn't hurt that we got to shoot in San Diego's beautiful Seaport Village!



 

All we have to say is WOW! This shoot just fell right into place on a day that was looking like rain but ended up being perfect! The sun came out for us and Linda was such a wonderful and willing model with lots of colorful, fun clothes.
